Scriptures: LUKE 9:28-36
INTRODUCTION
Today is the climax of the Bible Week celebration. As we thank you for your participation, we want to discuss the importance of the Bible, which is the word of God. God, by the power of His word, created the entire universe, and our relationship with Him must be based on the word of God.
POINTS:
Expanding on the sermon, the Supt. The minister admonished the entire congregation to note the following:
1. We cannot separate God from His word.
2. The word of God is the power of our salvation.
3. The word of God is the medicine for healing and a weapon for deliverance (Recount Peter and the cripple at the beautiful gate)
4. The word of God is our fulfilling promise.
5. The word of God promises defense for His children.
6. Just trust in God and call Him in every situation.
7. The word of God serves as nourishment for growth.
CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, the Superintendent Minister admonished the church that the Bible is important and should be promoted by all.
