INTRODUCTION

The transformation we seek to have should be that which is in Christ and not any other transformation. This is possible only by God’s word. We need God’s word in our lives to orchestrate this transformation. The nature of the word of God is as follows: transformative, creative, and yet destructive.

POINTS

1. Transformation: The Word transforms us from death to life, sin to righteousness, pain to gain, shame to glory, weak to strong, poor to rich (Philippians 3:6-11).

2. Creative: The word of God can create things for us even out of nothing. By God’s word, you can create and form things for yourself even out of nothing. John 1:1-3, Hebrews 11: 3.

3. Destructive: The word of God possesses the ability to destroy the works of the enemy. To break down altars and strongholds of sin and death. Jeremiah 23:29.

SPECIAL ILLUSTRATION

Naaman was sick with pain in the heart and was healed after applying the word of God.

The process of imbibition is needed to help us grasp God’s word. Imbibition is the process by which plants absorb water into themselves.

We need to study and absorb the word of God to transform and give us the power to create good things for ourselves and destroy altars that have been erected against us.

CONCLUSION:
We need God’s word to bring the transformation we desire into reality. Let’s, therefore, give ourselves to God’s word, and the changes we desire will manifest in our lives.

God’s word has the power to bring about our transformation when we imbibe it.
